The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) is leading a multiyear initiative aimed at building the capacity of educators and school leaders across Oklahoma to implement a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) to meet the needs of all students. To enhance understanding and improve practices related to progress monitoring and intervention implementation at the school, district, and state levels, OSDE partnered with the National Center on Intensive Intervention (NCII) in fall 2023 to provide training and technical assistance on data-based individualization (DBI). This brief provides an overview of the impacts of NCII's partnership with OSDE to support DBI implementation.
