NCII partnered with Los Angels Unified School District's Intensive Diagnostic Educational Centers to improve reading outcomes for students with specific learning disabilities that present one or more characteristics of dyslexia. Serving approximately 800 students across 27 sites, IDEC provide high quality evidence-based tier III reading intervention. Through work with NCII, IDEC educators worked to refine their implementation of data-based individualization (DBI) to individualize and intensifying reading intervention. In this video, educators and IDEC leaders share how DBI and partnering with NCII helped to improve their ability to analyze data, make data-based intensification decisions, communicate with other educators and families, and ultimately improve outcomes for students with dyslexia.
