Using Diagnostic Data to Intensify Intervention
Using Diagnostic Data to Intensify Intervention
The course is expected to take 30 minutes to complete. You may complete the course in one sitting or return at a later time to complete it.
This module focuses on constructing a testable, if/then hypothesis that explains why a student isn't responding to intervention, confirming that the hypothesis targets a variable you can actually change, and using the hypothesis to select intervention adaptations that align to the hypothesis.
- By the end of this module, you will be able to
- Construct a testable if/then hypothesis to explain why a student is not responding to an intervention.
- Evaluate a hypothesis to confirm it targets a variable that can change.
- Select intervention adaptations that align to a given hypothesis, using the Taxonomy of Intervention Intensity.
