Workshop Session Overview 

Part 1: Introduction to Progress Monitoring

What? This session will cover: 

  • The essential components of the progress monitoring process
    • Progress Monitoring Tool Selection
    • Progress Monitoring Planning
    • Collecting, Graphing, and Analyzing Progress Monitoring Data
  • The role of progress monitoring within the data-based individualization (DBI) process. 

When? April 25, 2024 at 3:30-4:30 pm ET

Who? The session is ideal for special educators or interventionists who are new to the field or who have limited experience with progress monitoring.

Part 2: Selecting the Right Progress Monitoring Measure/s

What? This session will cover: 

  • The different types of progress monitoring measures.
  • Strategies for selecting measures that accurately reflect students' progress toward their goals.

When? May 16, 2024 at 3:30-4:30 pm ET

Who? Individuals who have a foundational understanding of progress monitoring and want to determine what progress monitoring measures will work best for their students. This session builds from the “Introduction to Progress Monitoring” workshop. Participants who attended the first workshop are encouraged to complete the full series.

Information about the final two sessions that make up the 201 part of the series will be shared later this summer.
