About the Intensive Intervention Institute
NCII is excited to host our inaugural Intensive Intervention Institute: Building Knowledge and Capacity for Faculty, State, and District Leaders. The Intensive Intervention Institute aims to build the knowledge and capacity of state and local leaders and teacher preparation faculty to support implementation of intensive intervention for students with severe and persistent learning and/or social, emotional, or behavioral needs using data-based individualization (DBI).
The registration is now closed. Selected participants will be notified shortly! Those on the waitlist will be notified if space becomes available. We look forward to seeing you in June!

Event Logistics
- Who: Local Education Agency (LEA)/District Staff, State Education Agency (SEA) Staff, Teacher Preparation Faculty
- What: During the event, participants will:
- Learn about the DBI process.
- Discuss current DBI research and implementation lessons with NCII staff, advisors, and experts.
- Participate in role-specific (LEA/district staff, SEA staff, teacher preparation faculty) professional learning and action planning opportunities.
- Network with colleagues interested in supporting intensive intervention implementation.
- Access freely available resources and tools to support intensive intervention implementation.

- When: June 27-28, 2023
- June 27, 2023: 8:00 a.m.–4:15 p.m.
- June 28, 2023: 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
- Cost: Participation in this event is free, but you will be responsible for covering your own travel expenses. Coffee/tea and light breakfast or snacks will be provided each day (see travel agenda for additional details). Other meals including lunches and dinners will be the responsibility of participants.
