Full Eyes, Clear Problem Solving: Using Diagnostic Data to Intensify Interventions
Do you know what to do when students are not responding to intervention? On March 24, 2026, NCII hosted a free webinar focused on how diagnostic data can help you “see things clearly.” This webinar will provide an overview of the role diagnostic data plays in adjusting instruction and intervention within the data-based individualization (DBI) process. Participants will (1) learn five guiding questions to help develop a hypothesis about why a student has not responded to an intervention and (2) preview tools to help gather diagnostic data, confirm hypotheses, and consider adjustments to instruction based on those hypotheses. The webinar will be recorded and posted on the NCII website.
Following the webinar, NCII will host a three-part workshop series to dig deeper into the diagnostic data step of the DBI process. This series will provide interactive, applied opportunities to explore the tools and concepts introduced in the webinar.
