NCII Staff Story: Julia Casasanto-Ferro

NCII Staff Stories

“What I kept seeing across districts and states wasn’t that people didn’t have screening tools or progress monitoring tools, it was that there were so many tools and often they claimed to do the same thing, and all looked equally convincing at first glance.”

Julia Casasanto-Ferro leads the development and management of NCII's Tools Charts. In this role, she helps leaders and educators navigate the many intervention and assessment options available in reading, mathematics, and behavior. By ensuring the charts provide reliable, research-driven information, she helps educators make informed decisions about the tools they use to support students.
