Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be requested in writing by email to cmerkle@air.org by April 12, 2026. Registered participants will be asked to confirm that they are still able to attend in early May.

Emergency and Inclement Weather Policy

The Intensive Intervention Institute may be canceled under extraordinary circumstances that are outside of the control of the organization. Cancellation may occur 1) due to inclement weather or other unforeseeable events (including, but not limited to, flood, fire, other natural disasters or events threatening the safety of conference attendees, facilitators, and vendors including acts of terrorism) or 2) in the event that the venue and/or location of the event is closed or provides notice to Intensive Intervention Institute of its inability to hold the event inclusive, but not limited to the instance that government officials proclaim a local state of emergency that encompasses the location of the event. Event organizers will notify participants as soon as possible in the case of a cancellation. All travel expenses that may have been incurred by Intensive Intervention Institute event registrants are the responsibility of the registrants, and thus, will not be reimbursed by Intensive Intervention Institute. This includes the situation where the Intensive Intervention Institute is held as originally scheduled, however the weather conditions (forecasted or actualized) or other life events prohibit event registrants from traveling to the scheduled event.

Photo Release

AIR requests your permission to use your photo as part of work surrounding the Intensive Intervention Institute. Please electronically sign if you are willing to have your image included in information that we share about the event. Thank you.

I hereby grant my irrevocable consent and release to AIR, its successors, assigns, and licensees, for all uses, reproductions, translations, modifications and publications, in whole or in part, individually or otherwise, of any and all of the following: photographs, film, audiotape, and/or videotape taken of me on in digital media and in any other form of electronic or print medium and to edit such recording at their discretion.

I further grant AIR, its successors, assigns, and licensees the right to use and allow others to use my image and/or voice on the Internet, in brochures, and in any other medium and hereby consent to such use.

Without limitation as to time, I hereby waive all rights for compensation in connection with the use of my name, picture, likeness or voice, or any or all of them.

I hereby release and discharge AIR, its successors, assigns, licensees, contractors, agents, and representatives and any authorized users of my image and/or voice, artwork and/or written work pursuant to this release from any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses which now have or may hereafter have by reason of any use thereof.

I have full authority to grant the Consent and Release expressed herein and I understand that the provisions of this release are legally binding. I have read the foregoing Consent and Release and fully understand and agree with its contents.
