Data-based decision making is a critical part of a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS), but what does problem solving look like in the context of youth behavior and mental health? Join NCII on October 22, 2024, for a critical conversation led by three experts: Dr. Elizabeth Talbott, Professor and Associate Dean for Research & Faculty Development at William and Mary School of Education; Dr. Allison Bruhn, Professor of Special Education and Executive Director of the Scanlan Center for School Mental Health at the University of Iowa; and Dr. Nathan von der Embse, Professor of School Psychology at the University of South Florida. Presenters will share strategies for data-based decision making and problem solving for youth behavior and mental health across the tiers of an MTSS framework. The event will include time for questions with the panelists, so bring your questions for our experts!

This webinar is part of a larger series focused on data-based decision making. This series will feature education experts who work closely with school leaders and practitioners to support data-based decision making. These experts will share strategies for using data to make decisions for youth behavior and mental health, mathematics instruction, and writing instruction. Panelists will address your questions about decision-making when the evidence is not clear. Join us for all three webinars in the series or choose a topic that works for you! Stay tuned for more information about future webinars in this series by following NCII on social media, joining our newsletter, or visiting our website.
