Zachary Weingarten, Ed.D.

Zach Weingarten is the product development coordinator and evaluation liaison for NCII and a senior researcher at AIR. In these roles he develops resources for educators and leaders that promote implementation of intensive intervention and coordinates with the external evaluator on data collection and evaluation reporting. In addition to this work for NCII, Weingarten supports educators and leaders in the areas of multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS), evidence-based literacy instruction, and intensive intervention for students with disabilities. Previously, he taught elementary school special education in Arlington, Virginia. Weingarten holds a doctoral degree in special education from The George Washington University.
