Rebecca Zumeta Edmonds, Ph.D.

Dr. Rebecca Zumeta Edmonds leads the special education and multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) portfolio at AIR and is the Director of NCII. She has over fifteen years of experience leading state and federal projects related to MTSS and special education. She has also presented and published on a variety of relevant topics, including mathematics intervention, screening and progress monitoring assessment, and implementation of special education and tiered systems. Prior to joining AIR, she taught special education in public and private lab schools. She holds a Ph.D. in special education with concentration in quantitative research methods from Vanderbilt University.
