Jill Pentimonti is the Director of Research Advancement and Institute for Educational Initiatives Affiliate at the University of Notre Dame. She currently serves as the co-coordinator for knowledge development for the National Center on Intensive Intervention. In this role, she contributes to activities related to developing and synthesizing knowledge on intensive intervention. This includes managing procedures related to the submission of interventions and assessments from vendors, expert review of interventions and assessments, and communication of review results to consumers. She also serves as Principal Investigator on two grants from the Institutes for Education Sciences (IES); a psychometric evaluation of a preschool classroom observation tool and an efficacy evaluation study of a targeted shared book reading program in preschool classrooms. She also has experience working as an early childhood teacher at a center for hearing impaired children. Dr. Pentimonti earned a doctorate in Reading and Literacy in Early and Middle Childhood from The Ohio State University.
