Caitlyn Majeika, Ph.D.

Caitlyn Majeika is a research translation and capacity-building specialist for NCII and senior researcher at AIR. In these roles, she supports a portfolio of research on special education and contributes technical expertise to AIR’s ongoing work to evaluate the technical adequacy of universal screening, progress monitoring, and fidelity tools as well as intervention programs for use within MTSS frameworks and within the data-based individualization (DBI) process. For NCII, she coordinates activities on high-priority topics through the organization of working groups, workshops, and product development that result in recommendations, practices, and activities that help translate research to practice. She brings over 12 years of experience in helping schools implement sustainable practices to support student behavior. She has extensive expertise in classroom management, positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS), and data-based decision making. Dr. Majeika holds a Ph.D. in Special Education from Vanderbilt University, is a board certified behavior analyst, and has experience as a university professor and classroom special education teacher.
