Caitlyn Majeika

Caitlyn Majeika is a researcher at AIR where she supports a portfolio of research on special education and contributes technical expertise to AIR’s ongoing work to evaluate the technical adequacy of universal screening, progress monitoring, and fidelity tools as well as intervention programs for use within MTSS frameworks. Dr Majeika serves as the knowledge development task lead for the National Center on Intensive Intervention. In this role, she coordinates activities on high-priority topics through the organization of working groups and providing oversight of resulting recommendations, practices, and activities. Aside from her work on NCII, Dr. Majeika also supports special education program reviews at AIR, facilitates trainings with the MTSS Center, and provides analytic and content expertise to support the development and validation of the Integrated MTSS Fidelity Rubric. Dr. Majeika holds a Ph.D. in Special Education from Vanderbilt University and has experience as a university professor and classroom special education teacher.
