Amy Peterson

Amy Peterson is the universal technical assistance lead for the National Center on Intensive Intervention. In this role, she oversees the dissemination of all freely available professional learning activities and resources for the center. She also directs product development, website activity, dissemination and collaboration efforts for the PROGRESS Center and co-leads the stakeholder and family engagement capacity-building team for the National Center for Systemic Improvement. She has been conducting public policy and education research, communications, and technical assistance to support schools, districts, and states in defining and refining their MTSS frameworks, implementing evidence-based practices, using data and engaging since 2006. She also has worked across grade levels supporting early childhood efforts while at the National Association for the Education of Young Children and through early warning system implementation and dropout prevention efforts at AIR.
