Developed by top researchers and practitioners across the country, the Middle School Matters Research Platform and Field Guide describe 13 research- and evidence-based content dimensions to improve student achievement and classroom instruction in the middle grades. In addition, they describe data-driven decision-making, which is critical to the implementation of effective practices and, in effect, ties the content dimensions together. An overview of the findings are available on the Middle School Matters Institute website.
