Are you an educational leader who uses the National Center on Intensive Intervention’s academic screening tools charts? In your role, do you train or share information with others about academic screening tools? Do you want to improve your technical knowledge and ability to communicate about the academic screening tools charts? If so, join NCII experts for a free, five-part virtual Academic Screening Tools Chart Training of Trainers to enhance your expertise in the academic screening tools chart.
When: Sessions will be held on the following dates:
1. Tuesday, October 8 at 4:00-5:25 pm ET (3:00 pm CT/2:00 pm MT/1:00 pm PT)
2. Tuesday, October 15 at 4:00-5:25 pm ET (3:00 pm CT/2:00 pm MT/1:00 pm PT)
3. Tuesday, October 22 at 4:00-5:25 pm ET (3:00 pm CT/2:00 pm MT/1:00 pm PT)
4. Tuesday, October 29 at 4:00-5:25 pm ET (3:00 pm CT/2:00 pm MT/1:00 pm PT)
5. Tuesday, November 5 at 4:00-5:25 pm ET (3:00 pm CT/2:00 pm MT/1:00 pm PT)
Ideal for: Educational leaders who are in roles to train or communicate with leaders or educators about selecting or evaluating academic screening tools. Prerequisites for participation include educational leaders who:
- are in roles at the state, regional, district level, or are technical assistance providers,
- have used the academic screening tools chart to select or evaluate screening tools,
- are in roles that require training others about how to select or evaluate academic screening tools using the tools chart, and
- communicate about screening tools to state, regional, district, or school audiences.
- can attend all five sessions.
Become an NCII Affiliate Trainer: As an exclusive feature, joining the Academic Screening Tools Chart Training of Trainers will provide a pathway to becoming an NCII Affiliate Trainer. To achieve this designation, participants will be required to attend all five sessions and complete all required activities. With this designation, trainers will have the knowledge needed to train other leaders or educators to use the tools charts to select and evaluate academic screening tools. Further, Affiliate Trainers will be part of a network of trainers associated with NCII who will have access to support from and learning opportunities with NCII staff.

- A certificate of completion (can be used towards CE credits).
- Designation as an NCII Affiliate Trainer.

Registration: Participants who best meet the prerequisite criteria will be selected on a first come/first serve basis. Participants will be notified of selection on a rolling basis. Registration for this event is now full.
